HeyHey! Im pretty happy!
We GOT POWER AND WATER BACK!
Havent been in school for a week, they dont expect us to go back for a few weeks.
Im getting rather bored.
I mean...we still dont have tv back, no phone...being on the internet actually is an act of god. We still havent figured out how were able to get on.
In case you havent figured it out...I live in southern Mississippi. Which um...sorta looks like crap right now. A couple family members houses are destroyed. But were okay. My neighborhood is pretty bad actually but not as bad as n.o. and biloxi. Both the places I adore! (tear). Our car window busted.
Well Heck yes I was one of those people you saw on the news standing in line for gas and water and food.
No one thought it was going to be this bad.
But honestly...the fact that MISSISSIPPI is getting this much attention...I feel like so proud to be born and raised here you know? When they did that special on nbc about the hurricane it was like there showing all these famous succcessful beautiful people from here, its just like were not a buncha redneck hicks like everybody stero types us as. And people can actually see that now that its on tv. Were on tv! MISSISSPPI! People care about mississippi now. Im sooo proud! I really am! And you know yall dont need to stero type as those red neck hicks that are racist and are in the kkk and whatnot. Cuz some of my best friends have been black, Ima democrat(which in case you havent noticed most southern people are republic), I make almost straight a`s, Me and my friends go against every stero type of mississippi there is. And I know Im gettin off the subject, but theres stero types everywhere! People up north are rude and talk fast and while Ive had bad experiences with people up north *cough cough* Im not going to judge them and say every person from up there is like her. She was from New York and the person I know dislike more than anyone else in the world and while it lowered my opinion of New York(sorry Ive been there and its great...but...) Im not going to judge you.
I actually had someone leave me a comment on my piczo last week (anonymous of course!) making fun of the of the fact that Im from mississippi and this is what it said.

On a Happier note!
Ive been pretty happy lately!
The other day someone my friend told me that I looked like audrey hepburn the way i was sitting.
I was like trying to act cool and shrug it off and be like...yea I know, lol, j/k. I was totally none cool I was frikkin out! I was like REALLY???!?!?!?! Are you serious?!?!? Im so sitting like this forever! I dont have to ever get up! Ill just become extremly fat and sit on my butt all day! But if I look anything like Audrey Hepburn...Heck its worth it!
Then she came over after school and we were playing around with my camera and we were like puttin on makeup and doin our hair for pictures(or i was doing her hair and makeup...i thought i looked like crap and didnt want to be in any pictures)
And she goes."Ashleigh...you know whats sickening?! The fact that you look so pretty and your not even trying"
I was like...OMG! I was wiggin out yet again! Shes so nice!
Then during the hurricane someone left a chatter in my chatterbox on xanga and this is what they said.

I dont have any pictures of me on there, so unless they like saw me on my piczo site or know me then theyve probably never seen me, but isnt there a slight chance they have and they really think that?!?!?!?!?!?!!?
So now you know why Im so happy!
Im fat though(Well...not as fat as some people but fat none the less)...so it kinda lowers the beauty scale, but at least people think Im pretty! Somewhere out there!
Oh and my friend Heather from ga. just moved to va. and me and her have gotten real close! So it makes me sooooooooo super duper happy!
