Typing all that drama out yesterday helped, I think. I guess the journal did its job and helped me clear some of my thoughts.
I'm still coasting on a high from the Sunday photoshoot, as I keep finding pics I took that day that strike me as really good. And, based on comments from some people who've seen them, are good. It's nice.
Finished up Thieves World. Wow, I'd forgotten just how good that first book was. Crafting a fantasy world with Middle Eastern, rather than Western European, overtones was rather radical when the book came out. The stories held up, I think, and definitely make me want to continue...
... which is what I'm doing, reading Tales of the vulgar Unicorn right now. Also continuing to make progress though Iron Kingdom, having reached the Napoleonic Wars and another point of radical change in the Prussian State. A very comprehensive book, so far, but very readable.
Also got through to the end of Season 2 of Burn Notice. Great ending to the season. Looking forward to Season 3. Started watching Leverage Season 1, to tide me over in the interm.
