Day 15,118
Pathfinder tonight. The party put down the pick-axe weilding stone giant ranger without much trouble, the set out to track the rest of the fleeing stone giants back to their lair.
They dealt with an ambush pretty handily, but lost most of their horses in the process. This'll slow them down a little and give the giants a bit of time to prep.
Also paid my GST owed. Had to go down to the bank to do it. I haven't been there in two years now, so it felt weird to be dealing with a teller. At least it's done, though.
Watched Sherlock Holmes and found it quite loud. Robert Downey Jr. was wonderful to watch, though. His physicality and grace was fun to see, and the tried to play somewhat true to the mythos, I thought. My only worry is that it felt a bit like they blew their wad already, and a sequel or follow up would feel quite redundant. Fingers are crossed there isn't a follow up.
Also watched Up in the Air... my goodness, George Clooney is just a joy to watch. He does so much in this film with his posture and eyes. I really enjoyed it.
