My first candy of the season, it should have been the first candy and the first cookie but I royally messed up the Brown Butter Shortbread... yeah, being a full cup of flour short because you transcribed the recipe wrong will do that. But the Toffee was a huge success, as usual

Never heard of it, I just liked the image it presents outside that knowledge. Two men holding a baby as the concept of modern family. =)

It's a very funny sit-com about a dysfunctional [in a wonderful way] family. The gay couple, who have an adopted Chinese baby girl they are raising, are just one branch of the family. It is quite big here, hilarious is what it is.
