Sadly, NOT the 1st time he's been revisionist with his own history to make himself look cooler/smarter/tougher/more powerful/right in every way than the person who's called him on his bullshit, or even just provided an opposing point of view.

It's sad and shameful that something like this can be taken so fucking seriously that friendships are just simply discarded over something that is, in the long run (especially in regards to friendship) a pretty small thing.

I'm sorry this crap got pulled on you, Scott. I know this is no excuse: but sometimes he's a good guy, sometimes he's a knee-jerk-reactionary dickwad. Like all of us, really, just amped up to 11. ;)

You're both right. I was a dick last night, maybe even so far as to use asshat©. I should not have reacted that way.

I'm sorry.

It was also dumb because with my views, I lost in this election either way. I lean heavily libertarian, and neither candidate was a win for me anyway.

I can try and take some solace in the fact that McCain was in part defeated by his own campaign finance reform bill.

So, shall we just forget about this moment of stupid and move on?

I've edited my post here as well.
