first homework assignment (of the summer)

my response:
my place is my interactions with my friend jason. i am interested in relationships and what they create. to document what is inspiring and generative through our interactations, i thought this could best be shown by connecting our teeth, something that implies both internal and external space. all movements pulled and affected the other person. in choosing a physical place to document this, it was interesting to see that although random and meaningless at first, we were drawn to a place that we aesthetically were harmonious in (through our clothing, size, coloring, shape, etc.) by choosing this place, it became meaningful. this is important to note, as we interact in so many virtual/real ways, the idea of a specific place seems to become arbitrary and instead, timing and coincidence seems to be of greater value and excitement.
after all this was documented we each picked 5 or 6 photos individually that were our favorites. i believe 2 or 3 overlapped.
