Notes:
- About the title of the song (and repeating phrase): the Korean form for "I love you" is usually just 사랑해 (love). 난 너를 사랑해 is like an underscore on the subjects because of the inclusion of 난 (a shortened form of 나는, or "I" as the subject) and 너를 (indicative of "you" as the direct object). Hence, 난 너를 사랑해 is a very strong way to say "I love you."
[1] 잘 알고 있잖아 / You know that well : I'm making an assumption he's addressing the object of his affections. It could also be "We know that well."
[2] (안을 수 없잖아) / (aren't able to embrace) : As you can assume, the sentence structure difference between English and Korean forced me to flip the third and fourth lines, but I left the echo as the part it's supposed to be echoing.
[3] 따스한 그데의 손길로 / To your warm touch... : I don't know why I pegged this. But something about the way I translated it doesn't sit well with me. It's basically an unfinished sentence, and it could be "Towards your warm touch," "For your warm touch," or "To your warm touch" but it all depends on what else he was going to say. It's much simpler in Korean, sorry...
[4] 말을 듣질 않아 / It won't listen : Literally "The words aren't being listened to," or "The words are being ignored" but they sounded tacky. From the next line, he's referring to his heart/feelings, but in Korean fashion, he doesn't give the subject until the next line, and passive voice is just too awkward in English, so I used "it."
[5] 내 맘이... ...않아 / My heart... ...like a heart : 맘 (shortened form of 마음) can mean "heart" or "feelings" in Korean. There's a Korean expression that refers to the heart/feelings as being "moved," or a popular way to say that they have been touched; it's 내 마음이 움직이다, literally "My heart is/feelings are moved" like physical relocation. So here, he's saying his heart/feelings don't "move" like a they should. The implication is that they're stuck where they are, immobile, from his love for his object of affections.
[6] (난 그렇게 안돼) / (I can't do it) : I feel like I halfassed this line. The literal translation is "I can't do it that way" or implying "That way doesn't work the way I want it to." Again, that's too long and the correct shortened form seemed to be "I can't do it" but I could also have used "They don't work." Give me your opinion on the matter.
