So, after a bit of an inner debate I decided to share everything I have created for the my paperlegends because ... well ... I might as well right?

The Map of Perth
Perth is the conglomeration of several towns I know in Eastern Ontario. The town it is named after is actually very nice with beautiful parks and is full of heritage buildings. In order to know where things in my stories would happen I created this map. I'm no artist (for art check out
noneofthesort's art for the fic - wowza she's amazing).
The important part was having Willow Street located in a place Merlin would believably never actually go again until the end of the story. I also needed to have the three sisters on the walking hom from school on it. After a couple months writing I didn't really need the map anymore, but figured it would be nice to share with others who might be more visual people.
Percival's Family Trees
The Percival Side:
I don't think it ever got put into the story that Percival's sister and brother-in-law (mother and father to Elena, Sophia, and Vivian) were Isolde and Tristan. Bruce Ward was also supposed to have some scenes which did not make the final cut of the story.
Nanny P or Mrs. Percival's Side of the Family:
These trees were mostly used for coming up with last names of the people who inhabited Perth. Many of them are actually based on the big "founding families" of a number of local towns. Of interest on this family tree was creating the history for Leon too. Third cousins gave them a bond, but at the same time wouldn't have had the same close relationship as first and second cousins sometimes do. And if you are looking at this family tree closely, I am completely guilty of femslashing Leon's Aunts.
These family trees helped create a sense of the "world" of Perth, and a bit about it's history (which hopefully translated into the story). Also ... I work in a museum and run geneological workshops, I can't help but family tree things. It's in my blood and I blame work.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed that. Signing up for paperlegends is the first thing I ever did in the Merlin fandom, and I have loved every moment of it. Everyone has been so warm and welcoming and stupendous. So thanks!
