Finally!  After  many broken promises (mine), and failed attempts to find Babylon 5 for free online, I finally have my hands on the series via the Phoenix Public Library.  Shout out to libraries.

You started it!!! You started it!!!
**AND SO IT BEGINS** :-)

Yes, the FX is not so great, and budget is the main culprit - but try and remember that was 1993/1994 and that B5 was the *first* show to employ computer-generated effects vs. the models in stop motion (or whatever it's called) as Trek still used to do. B5 shows its age in the effects, true, but you will soon forget them, because what matters is not the package, but the contents. Time and patience... ;-)

Sinclair is a little stiff, granted - I read the actor was not totally comfortable on set, so that might account for it. But he will grow on you.

I have the slightest, most elusive impression that you like Ivanova - but I might be wrong... LOL LOL

It's Minbari, yes. And they are pale enough that your parallel with the Nebari is understandable. But it ends here, trust me :-)

Ah, G'Kar's voice made another convert! Welcome to the club....

As for the blond telepath and her pursuit of Ivanova... Sorry, the Spoiler Police is knocking on my door and I have to answer :-P

Way to go!!!! **high-five**

Indeed! I enjoyed the first two but haven't gotten a chance to watch more yet.

I understand about the FX; I figured their budget wasn't much. I just try to look past it and fortunately the characters are interesting enough that it's not a big deal. Just funny.

As for Ivanova...I like her? nah, where you'd get that impression! :)

Stupid spoiler police, interrupting you like that!
