OOC Reference - Character Info
Canon History:
Reno joined the Department of Administrative Research - a black ops branch of the ShinRa Electric Power Corp that did all of the dirty work for the corporation-turned-de facto global government - toward the end of the Wutai War. When he joined the 'Turks', he signed away his life to a company that cared nothing for the individual - but more importantly to a brotherhood that served as his surrogate family.
As a Turk, Reno went on routine missions and assignments that varied greatly. Spying and 'personnel research' to blackmail, bodyguard detail for the President to breaking fingers and faces for intel or obedience, 'recruiting' for new Soldiers to bombing Sector 7.. it didn't matter the assignment so long as he got it done and made it out alive. He was never a part of the business itself or significant decision-making within the company. He just took out the trash. In spite of political upheaval within the ranks of ShinRa, Reno managed to survive the war, the several year fallout afterward, and even the series of events that threatened to destroy the entire world when Hojo's experiments went awry and Sephiroth went insane.
When the management of ShinRa collapsed, either through death, disappearance, incompetence, or treason, Reno finally realized that he had had enough and there was no more reason for him to continue serving on a sinking ship. ShinRa was fighting a losing war, and he and the Turks were just caught in the crossfire with no one watching their backs. Faced with that realization, with ShinRa crumbling around him and with greater things at state than company loyalty, Reno and the other Turks walked away from their 'enemies'. After all, they were more likely to fix things in the end than the Turks.

Reno arrived on 6/6/11, shortly after the rainbow sheep event began. After finding out that he has no one he can rely on here - and that the man who he'd last seen attempting to destroy his home world was also in Adstring, and supposedly sane - he's decided that it'd be best to lay low for a while and figure things out on his own, forming new contacts in this city.

From what I can determine based off of timelines running between the original FF7 game and Before Crisis, on top of background info on ShinRa employment, I estimate his age to be about 29, upon introduction to the game in mid 2011. He is a senior member of ShinRa's Department of Administrative Research (the Turks).
I think that it's pretty safe to say that I'm up for just about everything in terms of scene range with Reno, from G to bloody R to NC-17. If it's something that might severely effect him, though, I'd just ask that you run it by me first to make sure that I'm up for the scenario at that time.
Please note! Reno is drawn off of FF7 original game canon! I have some knowledge of Before Crisis, Last Order & Advent Children, but am generally not using these different versions of him.
