3 Hours of Sleep...
And an all day Buzz Bake Sale. I'll admit that the main reason I went was to watch Silversun Pickups, my favorite little band going big, perform again. I was sad to learn that I missed their meet and greet, but was surprised to learn they stuck them on the main stage. They did awesome like always, but I kind of wish they had the side stage, so it could've been more personal. Oh well, they're only getting bigger, so I guess I better start getting use to this. Even though I didn't meet the band this time around, I think I met the bass player's sister. Weird story.
The day did have its other highlights. Fiction Plane was amazing. It's cool in a way how much the lead singer looks and sounds like his father, Sting from The Police. Saw Against Me! again and was able to really get into them this time. Not being a big fan, Coheed & Cambria impressed me with the talent they had over their instruments; a new found respect for them. I caught a couple of songs of Paramore. They were doing pretty good, I just didn't want to deal with the large crowd. Don't have much to say about The Used. Rise Against was surprisingly bad ass. I'm glad I stuck around for them. Being exhausted and not caring, I left early and missed Three Days Grace and Papa Roach. I say who gives a fuck.
