all alone.....
i've decided i like shopping by myself. seriously, i LOVE when my parents take me to the mall b/c i'll just walk away n b like "call my cell when we need to go" then i just do my thing. like 2day my dad took me n ben 2 khols b4 i went to work. i just went n looked at pants n junk. i decided i need to get at least one more NON-jeans pants. i have my striped pants and thats it. everything else is jeans. so i got these khaki colored pants that are ribbed n really strechy. they came w/ a navy belt too. bongo, on sale $29.99, then i got shoes. omg, i've NEVER bought myself shoes...EVER. i mean, i'll buy like $5 flip flops, but never major shoe purchases. lol. but i decided i need shoes to go with my new pants. lol. so i got these brown lei shoes that have a heel that's about the size of a crayola marker, the part BEFORE the cap,i'm guessing like three or four inches. not bad. i figure if my b/f is taller then me, why not buy me more heels. i'm not really a sneakers kinda girl, never have been. and since i dont have gym anymore, i only have one pair that i would wear, and they're not really sporty. they're adidias (sp?) w/ hot pink stripes, but i gotta bleach 'em b/c they got reallllly muddy. haha. so i doubt i'll be wearin' em. but i'm glad i got brown shoes b/c b4 i only had my fake birks, then everything else for winter and fall was black. so yeah, i'm very happy w/ my purchases, which ended up being $61.25 hehe. i was like i HAVE to do this b/c i want to spend my money on clothes that i can wear to school instead of stuff like the movies. i mean, if i cut trips to the movies out of my life completely, i'd be saving about $20 a month, lately it's been more. that could add up. i mean....that on top of tipshare and now my checking account. i think my parents think i didnt spend my money wisely, but i'm trying to keep a minimum of $75 in my wallet, and i've still got like $110. that's pretty good. and i have to have a min. of $50 in my checking account, which i'm not worried about b/c i'd rather just have that money to use for stuff like back-to-school shopping, or christmas stuff. that way i KNOW i have the money and i'll be less likely to spend it b/c it's not sitting in my wallet whispering "spend me, spend me" hehe. but yeah, i'm so happy that i finally bought something new.....even if it's more fall-ish, but i'm still gonna wear it. hehe. i dont care if it's summer.
