Optical Illusion opens today. For those uneducated, that's the film I'm in. The premiere was last night, and reviews so far have been good. Go see it. Multiple times. It will certainly be worth the price of admission, if only to see my character die spectacularly (I play a villain ( Read more... )

I'll be sure to see it. I've heard good things.

Something about a fabulous villain.

Ha! That's good.

Probably heard it from me, right?

I don't think I've seen you writing that often in the compendium. Pleased to meet you.

Yeah, I can't claim to be a regular - I find it's difficult enough to keep up with what's going on in my own life, nonetheless with the lives of what seems to be a lot of over-caffeinated children.

As you can obviously tell, my name's Reagan Ong. I'm friends with Kilroy Benson, and familiar with your show. Even if you guys weren't well know, it's sort of my job to know what's going on in the industry.

Not all of us are over-caffeinated!

But I know what you mean, especially when people are cruel. I include myself, at times. It can be amusing at times, though.

I don't remember Kilroy mentioning your name before. What do you do for a living?

Of course not. It just stands to reason that teenagers have more time to write in a magical journal about nonsense, doesn't it? I don't blame them, I just find it dull at times. But I do my best to catch the substantial entries.

I'm a talent manager in Los Angeles. Kilroy and I met through my ex-husband.

Some adults, too.

Is that so? Are you living in Los Angeles now?

Do you have a website?

Indeed, on all accounts.

It's Lighthouse Entertainment, and the web address is:

[Web address is written here. OOC: Lighthouse Management is in fact a real agency, though they don't appear to have a web site.]

I'll be in New York for the coming wedding, of course.

I'm asking because I'm a little dissatisfied with my current agent.

Well, I do have to make note of the fact that I'm a manager, not an agent, though I work closely with plenty of good people and I'd be more than willing to meet with you to discuss what I could do for you. Having both a Manager and an agent can be extremely helpful, especially for someone who already has such a successful career underway.

Will you be in L.A. anytime soon, or would you prefer to have a meeting in New York? If I'm not being presumptuous, of course.

No, you're not being presumptuous. Actually, you're pretty much on the mark. Two months ago, my last manager [...] had complications. I've been trying to fill the void myself ever since.

The wedding is on the 23ed - that's kind long from now. I hadn't any plans to go to L.A., but let me look at my schedule. It'll be worth it, coming out there to speak with you.

{ooc: being in the business, Reagan might know that Neil's former manager was arrested for possession of drugs >.> Gives me an excuse for 1) why Neil doesn't currently have a manager and 2) covers up my tracks for not knowing the difference between a manager and an agent - heh)
