It has been actual Fall weather in Utah this past week. Which basically means by Monday it will be snowing and two weeks ago it was 80 degrees. We have two seasons in Utah, fucking hot and fucking cold. Emma was chasing leaves this morning, which of course, I think is the most adorable thing ever. I can't wait to take her over to my parents house

I'm confused about the breeding Emma comment because...why would you want the hassle of dealing with puppies? Especially ones that would be mixed breeds like Emma, so they wouldn't even be worth the effort it would take to deal with them for at least 8 weeks and sell them...doesn't make sense to me.

Plus, and maybe Kevin's dad doesn't know this, it severely increases the risk of ovarian cancer in female dogs to even allow them to go through one heat cycle. Meaning - if you have no intention of turning them into a breeding dog, you should have them spayed as soon as they are old enough.

Sorry, this is just one of my button issues because I agree there are too many homeless pets everywhere. Dogs and cats are awesome, you know I love them, but I have never ever kept a pet "intact" because I feel like it's not responsible. As much as I would love to have a half dozen little Ripley's, that would be a huge pain too.
