It has been actual Fall weather in Utah this past week. Which basically means by Monday it will be snowing and two weeks ago it was 80 degrees. We have two seasons in Utah, fucking hot and fucking cold. Emma was chasing leaves this morning, which of course, I think is the most adorable thing ever. I can't wait to take her over to my parents house later today so she can run around without her leash on. My Dad even likes to sit out side and play with Emma, which isn't really his style. My Dad wasn't really one to play with our animals when we were growing up. I think since he is older now he is more of a softy. He loves his two cats so much and I think he really enjoys having Emma around. He has all the fun of a dog but none of the annoying stuff like picking up her poo. Emma also had her second round of shots this past week. We have one more round for this year and then we can get her fixed. It was interesting when we told Kevin's Dad (Tony) about taking her to the Humane Society to get her shots he was all worried they would talk us into getting her fixed. Tony didn't realize that we had already planned on getting her spayed. I think there are enough homeless pets in Utah without adding to the problem. Tony seemed genuinely annoyed that we weren't going to "breed her at least once."
I made Kevin watch Rocky Horror Picture show for the first time last night. He has been walking around the apartment this morning singing he is a sweet transvestite. Completely hilarious.
