Well, Shizuo is his friend from home! Except unlike Izaya, who is an uninteresting asshole, Shizuo is of GREAT SCIENTIFIC INTEREST and therefore Shinra gives more of a shit. Shizuo's strength makes him understandably nervous, but he appreciates that they get along so well; they both appear to be benefitting from each other's company, so Shinra isn't 100% separated from home, and Shizuo has a friend. Just don't break the cabin in half, please.
