I'm watching Myra Breckinridge by Gore Vidal.  It's such an awesome book, and yet such a dismal failure as a movie.  It's times like this that I wonder if they were to try and remake another version of it, if it would be nearly as bad.

Awesome movie... male eye candy everywhere, but aside from that... Fricken Amazing movie.

Hadn't even heard of this movie, but it's amazing.  Better than that other thing I suggested everyone watch... I say, take the time to see Pan's Labyrinth.

Just finished watching this wonderful movie, it came out back in 1995, but it was so moving and just made me sit there and watch it.  Beyond Rangoon, I'd never thought much about life in other places, I'm horrible that way, but I always think my life is crap.  Then I watch a movie like this and thank god that I don't have to run through the streets ( Read more... )
