NaNo Word Count: 5518

That's it. I'm just going to have to turn my (former) male protagonist into a secondary lead and have the Nazis kidnap him. The Nazis are always good for that. Honestly, he and my female protagonist have chemistry like a wet sponge. Meanwhile, she and the new male protagonist are literally going to cause a wildfire. I'm not bragging, and maybe it's only that way for me, but he popped up in an army lorry with a fedora and a penchant for American gangster movies and there was nothing I could do to stop them. They're currently in the middle of a heated and emotional conversation outside secret government research project headquarters and it's all I can do to stop them from just going at it. Oh, well, she's going to call him by his first name in just a minute, which is one of my bulletproof kinks of all time, you know, the "call each other by last names, until you just can't bear it anymore". Anyway, I'm still writing, but I've got to go to bed.

Tomorrow, we're going to drive up to the outlets at Round Rock. Honestly, I've got better things to do with my time, but at least there will be plenty of time in the car to sit and write. I've got a big exposition scene coming up, so the tricky art of infodumping without appearing to do so will need to be perfected. Luckily, there's nothing between Houston and Austin but a lot of cattle.

writing, nano
