Second week of Phil's Eberron D&D 4e edition game. We went up against Krythyk (spelling mangled), which my character isn't as well suited to fight, plus we all rolled for crap, plus we all depleted our daily powers on the big bad.
Got through two battles. In the second battle, there were two swarms that did 6 points of aura damage a turn, automatic if you started the turn next to them. We figured that my area effect would be effective against them, but nope.
Getting frustrated with 4th edition. Very, very random.
