I hate this chapter with a passion.  It isn't working, Piotr is out of character and David gets the pooh kicked out of him.  Any comments, suggestions, questions would be appreciated by any and all.  Do NOT be gentle, be honest--though, in all honesty, the grammar problems are the least of my worries.   ;P

We've been without an air conditioner since April.  The thing is 13 years old and finally went cuput.  So we bought a window unit for downstairs today because we couldn't stand it any more.  Luckily when my sister and brother-in-law moved they left their small window unit with us for our bedroom upstairs.  Otherwise we would roast.
