Reality? What's that?
The past week, I've been going to sleep around 0500. I don't know why. Usually I get to bed around 0200 in the summer. That's a nice hour to go to sleep. I think part of this is the amount of caffeine I've been drinking the past week. And the sugar I've been devouring. I keep feeling drained during the day. I don't like that feeling. Maybe it's just PMS or something, but I doubt it.
Yesterday and the day before that I went and pretended I had a life for a while. Hung out with Sophia. We talked about lots of random stuff *L* Including our manga, which is coming along rather slowly, but hopefully we'll be able to pick up the pace soon. At that, hopefully I'll be able to help Sophia with the drawing soon.
She made me watch Spirited Away while I was there, loaned me Castle in the Sky, and showed me the preview for Twelve Kingdoms. You're right, Bro - it looks cool. Although Soph kinda freaked me out by saying the main female character made her think of Amber (my Amber, Amber Fox) o.O ....
I've gotten many new books, and this makes me happy. I have all of The Wayfarer Redemption trilogy, in hardcover (gasp!). I have all of the Starlight & Shadows trilogy (Forgotten Realms), and I have books I-III of the War of the Spider Queen series (also Forgotten Realms).
I've been playing this game (with my sister, Amber) called Kingdom of Loathing. It's really amusing *L* You can find it here. You get 80 adventures on registering, but after that, you only get 40 adventures a day. That kinda sucks, but, hey, you get what you get, and it works, no? My primary character is Kitty of Doom, a Seal Clubber, Level 5 (Penguin Frightener). Much fun.
My little brother Jason is staying with us right now. Tomorrow, I'm going with my dad (and Jason) to pick up my other brother, Michael, for the weekend. His birthday is on Monday, so we're going to celebrate it with him. Yay! I went to the store today and ordered his cake. It'll be ready by noon on the 4th. I'm not sure whether I'll be going to pick it up, or my dad.
I might end up having to stay home in boredom for a coupla days, 'cause we have to fix my windshield. -_- It's leaking and such. Evil evil. And the air conditioner doesn't work at the moment, but that's okay. Windows roll down. That works *L* Except... my sunglasses broke ;_; So now I have to find my spare pair, and they aren't as good (or as cool) as the ones that broke. I want my Oakley glasses back ;_;
July 17th I have to drive an hour to Scooba for a yearbook staff meeting, and then drive the hour back to Columbus. Ugh. I dunno for sure if I have the position I want, but I think it's a fair chance that I'll be the Layout & Design Editor. That's extra scholarship money, not that I need it. I made the 28 on the ACT that I needed to get the full scholarship, so now I have books, dorm, tuition, and meals all paid for. YAY! Which also means that the $850 Pell Grant I get and the $250 a month I'll start getting soonish can be used to buy more books, games, movies, etc. And, yes, FFXI, after I buy the part for my PS2 that I'd need to play it ( :-P @ DanBro )
And, of course, at some point in the middle of all that, I have got to get myself a new computer monitor, because this one is old and it's just... argh! So dark x_X I can't see some stuff on it that I know I should be able to see. Mleh. Sucky ass monitor. The damn thing has to be almost three years old.
I think I'm done with my lovely little spiel for the day (week, mebbe *L*).
