A wedding

Now that I have time...

I went to Sean and Kristin's wedding yesterday.
It was really beautiful.
I wanted to slaughter one of the people behind me, who kept complaining about the music.
I thought the music was beautiful, and a very nice touch.

Kristin looked very gorgeous in her dress.
Sean looked a little nervous, at first, but he got over it fast.
He looked very nice in his suit.
I think they're both very lucky people.
Amber... well, Amber was rather amusing. First she pulled a daddy long-legs off Kristin's dress, and then she proceeded to try not to cry through the rest of the ceremony.

It felt good to be around friends again.
I hope Sean and Kristin felt loved by their friends, because they were and they are.

I wish I could have stayed long enough to watch them cut the cake.
I hope the topper didn't fall off while they cut it.
And I really hope the cakes themselves turned out good.

The claw marks on the groom's cake were a nice and interesting touch. I applaud you, Amber, for your stencil-making and what-not.

Oh, and to Amber and Julia both - you should really reconsider the whole "never getting married" thing. I imagine the rush beforehand of the parties and decorating and everything is more than made up for by the wedding itself. That's just speculation, of course. You should ask Sean and Kristin.
