Oh, so it's going to be one of THOSE days
You know the type of day I mean....nothing MAJOR goes wrong, just a lot of little things.
The cat keeps snacking on one of the ferns, which would be annoying enough without the puddles of green vomit it results in, one of which I almost stepped in this morning. I managed to spray yogurt all over the counter at work, which shouldn't surprise me as I don't think I've ever been able to open a yogurt container without SOME spillage, but the mocking laughter of the children haunts me still (sob). I slipped on some ice while walking home from the grocery store and spent a good minute and a half staring at the ruins of my groceries, wondering just how I was supposed to carry half a dozen ruptured pop cans home (I ended up abandoning them outside of Blockbuster. Normally I'm against littering, but I didn't think I could balance everything without getting Dr. Pepper all over myself and really...what would be the point?).
My computer mouse is at the point where it is BARELY functional, I have the hardest time copying and pasting or clicking links because it randomly seizes up. I've tried cleaning it, but no luck.
It's not an auspicious way to start the day, and I can't say I'm looking forward to whatever else the universe has in store for me. Oh well, better minor inconveniences and annoyances than anything substantial. The week is half over and soon I will have a weekend to sleep in and play video games, far away from children and their casual cruelties.
