21 "Hey, where are you going Devin?" Marcie said, the night they came back from their final exam, after their exhausting final week. But it paid off. They were finally Seniors.
"Oh, I'm gonna crash. I'm falling off my feet from the tired."
"What? No way! We're Seniors now! We own the fucking campus! That's worthy of celebration!" said Marcie.
"Celebration?" said Devin. He really was tired, but the thought of taking Marcie out, and maybe getting her drunk was certainly appealing.
"Yes, let's do something completely not us, but very Senior-esque. Let's go to a club and get fucked up. Huh?"
"Marcie..."
"No discussion, sir, we're doing this. Put on something smart and wait for me in my room in ten minutes. I'll call a cab."
"I wonder if she'll consider this smart..."
"Oh, hey Devin! I didn't really think you'd do it, but I'm glad you did it!"
"You look good! Even with that hair and earing." said Marcie. Devin was still lost in the 'you look good' comment.
"You too, Marcie. I thought I'd never see you wear makeup, or a dress, or heels, much less the three combined." he said, enjoying this moment.
"Yeah, well, Selina helped me."
The moment was over. "Selina?" Devin asked.
"What's up, honey?" Selina said, walking thru the door.
"Yeah, she's joining us." said Marcie.
"You are?" said Devin, and suddenly his plan was frustrated. Well, it didn't matter, it was never gonna happen anyways. He really was glad they were all hanging out.
"Yeah, with everything that's happened, I really need to get fucked up." It was weird of Selina to curse, but with the things that had been going on, no one blamed her. She had finals, too, and she found out Matt had been cheating on her, not with one girl, but with many, a couple including girls in their dorm. She'd broken it off and he tried to slap her, but a boy passing by tackled him, and the police took him away. They took those kinds of things very seriously, and the college gave Selina a lot of stuff, scolarships and so, even though Matt never really touched her.
"Hey, should we ask Viviann if she wants to come?" Marcie asked Selina anxiously.
"Umh, she won't wanna, she's such a dork." she said. "But we can ask her anyways."
"Hey, is everyone decent?" Selina asked, entering Houston's room.
"Umh, I guess not..." Selina said.
"Hey, did you ask her? Oh, wow." she said, having a fit of laughter upon seeing them.
"Hey, what did she say?" Devin asked, and he really didn't mind that Viviann would join them, not anymore.
"I haven't gotten the oportunity to ask her yet." Selina said, giggling.
"Oh." As over Viviann as he claimed to be, his blood still boiled whenever she saw her with Houston.
"Oh, sorry... Hey guys. Really sorry you had to see that. Viviann wouldn't let me go." Houston said, smiling awkwardly.
"Don't apologize, Houston! It was them interrupting us!" Viviann said.
"Hey, relax, Viv, we just wanted to ask you if you wanted to come with us to a club." said Selina
"Hahaha, me, in a club? What a good joke." laughed Viviann.
"I'm not kidding, Viv!" said Selina, annoyed.
"Alright, don't get mad. But I'm gonna pass this time, sis. I just want a quiet night with my boyfriend." said Viviann.
"Well, I bet it won't be exactly 'quiet'. We tried, folks, let's roll. The cab's waiting for us already."
And so they got to a very high profile club in Downtown, with the buildings and lights and everything that makes you wonder. (Yeah, I just finished Perks)
"What up, boys. Let's party hard bitches." said Marcie
"And to think she hasn't started drinking yet." sighed Selina.
"Hey, bartender, we'll have two whiskeys in the rocks, and one vodka cranberry." said Marcie.
"You got it, pretty girl!"
And so, they began drinking the first drink of many that night. And as they drank, they talked. About school, and life, and plans for when they graduated.
But all Devin could think about was Marcie, and whether he would tell her, and if so, how he'd do it.
"Well, you guys are boring. I'm going to the dance floor. Wanna come, Devin?"
"No, you're too drunk. And stop fondling me!" said Devin.
"Whatever." Selina said with a giggle, before leaving.
They both sighed and drinked.
"Well, and how will you begin your hunt?" Marcie asked Devin. "One of the main reasons I brought you here is so you could get some ass, you know?"
Who talks like that? Devin asked himself, before remembering, Marcie does. That's one of the many reasons he fell for her in the first place. "Uh, I'm not really in a 'predator' mood." he said.
"What?" Marcie asked, surprised. "That's not very like you."
She looked serious for a second, and then she sparked up. "I'll be right back."
That's when he decided. He was drunk, and he was telling her how he really felt about her. He didn't want to waste more time.
"Marcie," he said "I need to talk to you."
"Wait a second," she said "I want you to meet a friend of mine."
"A friend?"
"Yeah, this is Jill. She likes you."
"I think the two of you will hit it off." she said. Devin was confused, and hurt. Why would she do this? Specially when he was ready to confess his feelings for her?
"Hey handsome. Wanna party?"
Then he decided. She definitely doesn't want anything to do with him romantically, she'd told him that once, when they met. So he settled for taking this girl home.
"Alright, I'm going home." she said.
"Where the hell's Selina?" she said, looking for her in the room.
Uhhh... I don't think she'll be wanting to go home yet. Not with me anyways, she thought.
So she took one last drag of her cigarette...
...and went home.
Author's Note: Hey guys. Sorry for the loooooong delay on this chapter. I know for any other sim story, the time frame is quite normal, short, even, but for the standard I've been running this story with, it's quite long. I just want the story to be loyal to the game, and I wanted them to actually be recently seniors, so I had to play two years and a half (in sim time) without taking pictures. It was quite boring actually, you know how long college gets to be. And then, I also had the hardest time just starting the game, it kept crashing and crashing. Add that to the holiday-ness (you know, buying presents, wrapping them, opening them, putting them in place [I had a sort of 'spring cleaning', only that it's winter], etc.) you get a lot of time without playing.
But once you actually get them to be seniors, you can finally play! And take shots! And that's what I love about writing sim stories (plus the actual writing).
A couple of notes about the characters: It was not your impression, Devin was a little bitch in that club. Well, he was drunk, but the way he's been relating to Marcie (she gets him 'ass') suddenly makes him mad? She only did what she always does! And he gets mad because she did not consider that he's about to confess his feelings, for the first time! I guess he's so in love with her that he also thought she was a mind reader (Har-har.). Talking about Marcie, I think she looks completely lovely with that makeup! I'm in love, and I'd love to keep her like that, and maybe also give her another hairdo, but then she'd become a Miss Little Perfect Two Shoes. I try to give my best to give all my characters more dimensions, and stay away from Mary-Sueness (except maybe when the character needs to be a Mary Sue) and it's a very thin line to walk as a writer. And in this case, Marcie is a girl that doesn't wear makeup. I don't mean anything by it, she just doesn't.
'Til next one! Thanks for reading!
