Someone with a really noisy vehicle (and probably overcompensating for something, since I can't come up with any other reason why they need to make that much noise) has a habit of revving around in our complex. Usually they only do this once or twice a night, so I suck it up when it wakes me up and leaves 2-3 car alarms running. So far they've done

That kind of thing is just juvenile. What's the purpose of revving your engine. Do you think the hot chicks are just going to line up at your car door as soon as they hear it?? Not hardly. lol

Actually, it's more like this: S&W 686P.

That's a .357 Magnum with a 6" barrel. It weighs 2-2/3 pounds and kicks like a mule (after 2 full sets of rounds my wrist hurts -- and that's when fired properly, yet). It has the stopping power of a sledge hammer and makes so much noise that even with ear plugs IN your ears still ring!

But, when the slug hits ya somethin' is coming off!

And, I got it because a bunch of gang members were firing guns at my house (they didn't like the fact that I was keeping one of their members from harassing a young lady). I showed it to the kid in question and then showed him a 5" target with 7 neat little holes in it and told him "This was from 50m, that's half a football field, so I know that I could hit someone from here to the street which is only about 25m." The gunfire was never heard in our neighborhood again.

I have seriously considered taking it out and shooting this car with it, but I'd get in trouble for firing a weapon inside city limits. It would be impossible to conceal myself with this
