Two naproxen (generic Aleve) got the wisdom tooth contributing to my crankiness this morning in check, so I am happily eating yogurt and thinking that "makes good homemade yogurt" needs to be added to my running list of attributes my ideal partner should have.
Seriously, this is damn good yogurt. The current batch was allowed to develop a little longer than he usually lets it so it's thicker and tangier than usual, but it's so good with a sliced banana or a dash of vanilla sugar it should be a food group. It's already one of my daily staples. (:
In related news, I made my Mother's Day order from Harry and David earlier in the day. I seriously toyed with getting an order of Heart Galettes (shortbread and raspberry, yum) for myself since they're marked way down, but I ultimately decided what I should really buy myself for Mother's Day are more patterns.
I wanted to get something from
My Sister's Patterns, but they currently don't offer online ordering. (Two of their dress patterns are among the things I've requested to be sent from my parents'.)
Birch Street Clothing has a buy three get one offer, but it only applies to the Birch Street line, not the Sewing Workshop or
Folkwear lines.
So here's the challenge: I'm looking for sewing patterns that excite me. Children's patterns are fine (I usually fit into large or extra-large children's sizes), but I want something that excites me like the Folkwear patterns. I fall under petite for most pattern companies (5'3", 32-25-34) and get most excited by ethnic and historical patterns. Do your worst. (:
