"Wow" is all I have to say.
Yesterday, or this weekend, was a stepping stone for me. Sat I put up flyers around GMU's performing arts building hoping for some prospective actors to email me. Then last night I basically talked to everyone I know and asked them to find people who might wanna act. And then this afternoon I put up a few more flyers in the JC post boards. And all I have to say is "wow!"
Ok...Sat when I was at the PAB I talked to Zack who was interested, but I dunno how that'll work out. Then sunday night my friend Chris tells me this girl Megan would be happy to be in it. I talked to her, and she's gonna be my lead. Then this evening I get a phone call from an Alexandra, and an email from a Cristina, both interested....oh an my sister's friend Catherine is also interested. Damn, it's amazing. And maybe I'm just beng a little more emphatic than I need to be, but damn it I've never had to do anything like this before and I'm proud of myself.
I deserve a pat on the back I think :-) or maybe a nice belly rub. HAHAHA
Ok after an entire night of avoiding my comm paper I get to write the whole fucking thing tomrrow night. I guess it was too good to be true, this doing things before they're due. Well at least my drawing got pushed back so I have a little breathing room. I'm having fun with that though, and I think I'll be a little sad when it's done. Eric said he'd be happy to hang it up in the hallway...I rule! :-P
So pending papers getting done this looks like a really good week. Now lets hope the STAR lab holds out and lets me get the equip I need (which isn't much) but I'm trying to get special treatment. (hmm maybe I can get Brew to sheck me out some stuff with her graduate's student priveleges...hmmm) I'll look into that tomorrow. 2:30 and I've gotta get to sleep...Kill Bill comes out on dvd tomorrow and I'm gonna BE THERE!
