Since this cat can't talk, however, Isamu will have to settle for an offended glance mid-yawn, the tail still twitching back and forth.

Once they're inside, he turns to the human. What Sanji wants to know isn't easily expressed through the normal means of communication. He'll have to get creative....
Give him a second. Slinking off into the kitchen. There's some rustling and the sound of drawers being open before the cat returns with a piece of paper and a pen clenched in his jaws.

After that is when the trouble begins. Turns out the paper doesn't feel like keeping still whenever Sanji begins scribbling. That's not counting how awkward it is writing with your mouth... in the body of a large cat. There's a hiss of displeasure at one point, but he's too damn invested to give up now.
Eventually, the message is written in the ugliest handwriting imaginable. Good luck reading it, Isamu:

Naoki? That does say Naoki, right? Is that seriously you, Sanji? I was just kinda going out on a limb before...
Anyway, he's still alive, last I checked. I was planning on approaching him later at some point when he isn't making an idiot of himself.

And this body needs more expressive faces. It's hard to roll his eye at the "idiot" comment, or look relieved that Naoki hasn't forfeited his life somehow]
