Move Update
This is my first time online since last Thursday morning. I'm at a wi-fi place, as we still don't have Internet access at home. That will happen Wednesday afternoon, so in all likelihood, I won't be online again until then.
The move went very smoothly. All the preliminary moving I did (kitchen, bathroom stuff) really paid off. There are still a lot of boxes to unpack, pictures to hang, things to arrange, but it's not nearly as bad as I'd expected. And the cat introduction (my three, Jame's two) went amazingly well. So yay!
My apartment is nearly cleaned out too, thank goodness. I have to turn in the keys on Thursday. Having that extra week was really smart--I've done too many frantic midnight cleanups (alexfiles can attest to that) to go through that again.
I'm off to run some errands and do more unpacking. Just wanted to check in and let you know that I still exist. I'll be back soon!
