OMG - What a good week! My husband and I lost 7.2lbs together this week. He lost 4.2 and I lost 3. I was so suprized at my weight loss - especially since I had just lost 5lbs the week before. I did follow plan this week and upped my exercize, so I was hoping for around a 1-2lb loss this week but then I went ahead and ate salty tomato soup and downed a ton of water before my meeting, and I figured it wouldn't show that much loss on the scale. But still it registered a 3lb loss. WOO-HOO!
In other news. . . Men are freakin' weird! My husband announced to his office that he was now following Weight Watchers so the men at his work place have decided to hold a weight loss contest. He has to weigh in at work today. Here's how the contest goes - they weigh in weekly and whoever loses the least amount of weight has to buy everyone else lunch/dinner. Huh? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of this contest? Having food as a reward/punishment - they could easily sabotage one another. I don't think women in general would go for such a thing - I know I wouldn't - ESPECIALLY at work! Anyway, my honey thinks he has a leg up on the competition because he's following a plan (WW) and I'm around to cook healthy meals for him that are low in points (not to mention the fact that I won't sabotage him). Let's wish him luck. . . I guess.
