it's as if i've finally done something right...
I posted a oneshot fic on Wednesday; YuGiOh, titled "Piano Man," inspired by the Billy Joel song (though not a songfic). I worked on it for about a week or two during my study halls at school. And I have six reviews on ffdotnet. And none of them are flames, and two people even thanked me for writing it. And six reviews may not be a lot to some people, but it usually takes me months to get that many if I even get that many, so to have six reviews by Friday is amazing to me. It's as if I've been missing the mark with the rest of my work and I finally hit something good. I'd been feeling dejected about my fics until now. I still have work to do, of course I do, but it's a step in the right direction. Six reviews should not make a person this happy, but I don't care. I feel like a writer.
