The world is moving forward on me, and even though I don't like it, I have to adapt if I don't want to be left by the roadside. So, here's something I needed to hear, and if I'm the only one who will say it to me, so be it:
Like it or not, you are graduating this spring. Like it or not, you are going to college this fall. Like it or not, come September you will be a legal adult. You need to get your life going.
Fill out the scholarship applications. College costs money.
Learn to drive. You can't keep mooching rides from everyone.
Get a job. Accept responsibility for once.
Try not to be so afraid of people. They're only human, like you.
Write. Who knows when you'll have time again?
I had to say it. I had to hear it. I need to move in the right direction instead of waiting here.
