back to reality
Been home for a couple of days already... meh. I miss Hawaii already... being home means it's that much closer til it's time for school :( Anyways, the weather was great, despite it getting a little hot and humid every now and then. I loved that you could go outside everyday at 11pm in a tank top and skirt, and not even need a sweater. I think I'm still a little jet-lagged, you wouldn't think 3 hours would make that much of a difference, but it does. I've been sleeping late and waking up late.
I kept a journal while I was in Hawaii, just so I could look back and remind everything later, since I have a terrible memory most of the time. I also took a gazillion pictures, and I still need to sort through them... As for the journal entries, I'll post each day in separate entries later, but I'm going to start backwards for now.
Day 7th Events: (Tues. 8th)
We boarded the plane at around 11pm. There were 2 stewards (male stewardesses) on the plane this time, and one of them reminded me of Tim Gunn from Project Runway, haha. The in-flight movie this time was The Sentinel, but again, my brother and I watched Infernal Affairs on my laptop until it died. Still haven't finished it. The in-flight 'snack' was a turkey sandwich, with some chips and cookies. My laptop died around 1am, so I just tried to sleep for the rest of the way. I don't think I actually managed to fall asleep, next time, I'm not going to even try. We arrived at SFO at 3:38am HI / 7:38am Pacific, which was earlier than expected, but getting the luggage took forever. Arrived back home, fell asleep, and woke up at 12pm Pacific. I spent the whole day sleepy and groggy.
