Week 7 review

Jun 14, 2015 14:42

Yesterday was Karla's baby shower, so that can now be ticked off. I didn't do all the things I had hoped to do for it (for example, I planned on making 5 baby lamb soft toys for a centre piece - I ended up making one) but it went ok. My contributions were: to plan the activities (draw baby WilKar, write advice for the advice book, and estimate the circumference of Karla with string), buy flowers (roses from roadside seller), paint a wooden "Baby" sign, and make the lamb. Rosemary did the baking and Karla's friend brought along decorations.

I can also tick off "Make something for William and Karla's baby" with the aforementioned lamb.

Other than that, I've gone without fizzy drink for another week up to 42/101 days completed - nearly half way there!
