Week 6 review
I haven't finished anything and have little progress to report. But I'll report it anyway!
I wrote a short story so that's one down out of five. I had decent-ish but not great ideas for the first two LJ Idol minor home game themes, but didn't write anything and had another one this week so wrote it, instead of just thinking about it. (Not to say it is good, but writing something is always better than writing nothing in terms of skill improvement). I have added another 7 days of non-fizzy drinking so now have achieved 35/101 days of not drinking soft drinks.
And I think that's it. Sick kids, sick husband, and work deadlines have kept me pretty busy. I am nearly at the end of two projects though, so hopefully life will become more manageable again. I do need to DO MY TIMESHEETS. I always think I will remember how long I have worked and then forget and spend ages working it all out...
I've got Karla's baby shower this weekend so will be aiming to get everything organised for that. I am feeling a bit sad about missing miniatures on Sunday as it was an extra cool mid-winter Christmas at Gayle and Laurie's house (making baskets and a display case), and I was going to stay with Abigail at my Granny's overnight which I also really wanted to do, but sick babies have to come first. At least I got a chunk of work done.
