life is fucking weird

growing up we all hear things here and there like
"life's tough"
".. well life's not fair"
"... out in the real world"
"adult life is ..."
and whatever else

and yeah.. you know that as you get older it doesn't get any easier

but at least for me.. it would've given me a much clearer expectation of what's ahead
if somebody had just knelt down and told me 'kid,
life is fuckin weird'

work, school, bills, even death, and everything in between
we all know that's coming
people are gonna get sick
you're gonna get your heart broken
your mom's gonna die
and there's a pretty good chance you'll get diagnosed with
something
i dunno
but i mean those things are all realities we know exist
there's nothing wrong with being .. even devastated

but is it hard?

it's WIERD

and no i'm not drunk
i would really just like to look back and see where my head was at around this moment in my life
