Let it be known
...that the first moments of my new year were spent with Arashi('s voices) in the bathroom (by myself).
Snicker.
I had just finished taking a shower and had my phone's music player. While I was rubbing some kind of nourishing guck on my face, I looked at the phone's clock and saw that midnight was fast approaching. I skipped to a song that I hope will steer me in the right direction for the new year. "Boku ga Boku no Subete." Because I really need to work on loving myself and knowing that I am worth something as a human being. When 2011 finally came to a close and 2012 made its presence known (through the sound of my dad shrieking "New Year!" in the living room), it was Nino's voice that came on. Really, it's destiny. Thwarted by thousands of miles of geographical distance, the international date line, language barriers, differences in culture, religion, and status, and--this is the peskiest one!--the fact that he doesn't know I exist.
Ah well, cheers to the new year. Let's make it a memorable one.
