Stuff. AND THINGS.

Let's see...

I finished a draft of my law journal article.  I don't think the thing I was freaking out about is actually a problem, and I'm not going to worry about it until I need to.  Right now, the damn thing is done, I've earned my credits for journal, I've satisfied my upper level writing requirement for Suffolk.... yeah.  I don't need to freak the fuck out for now.  I just need to get working on my Animal Law paper.  And learn stuff for the Income Tax final.  And eventually work on my Employment Discrimination thing, when the test comes out.  I am trying with questionable amounts of success to convince myself that all of this and moving is feasible.

I went to a Homestuck meetup on Friday that was going on at Anime Boston.  It was awesome.  People were reenacting scenes from Homestuck in costume.  Also, a ton of people took pictures of my Tavros sweater.  Sadly, I had not completed the Tavros plushie by that point, but eh.  It was fun.

A Game of Thrones-related
-Tyrion slapping Joffrey repeatedly was totally the best part of the episode.  I only wish he had done so more.
-Tyrion's interactions with Tommen and Myrcella over the breakfast table were really cute, and makes me wants me to find or write fluffy fanfiction with nice interactions between them.
-The actors playing Viserys and Jaime are just so excellent at being TOTAL DOUCHE CANOES.  Like, Viserys would be best bros (or kismeses.... probably kismeses) with Eridan, and Jaime gives Captain Hammer and Gul Dukat a run for their money in terms of being an arrogant jerkass.  It's fun to watch.  And that thar was probably the dorkiest sentence I have spoken or written all day.
-MOAR BARBARIAN RAPE with Daenerys and Khal Drogo.  Now with added exploitative lesbian sex scenes.  This wasn't necessary, guys.  You really don't need to try to outdo George R.R. Martin when it comes to creepy sex.
-Sandor Clegane having a Phantom of the Opera-esque bad sunburn in the place of horrible burns makes me even more unsympathetic to him.  And given that I already have extreme hype backlash and resulting dislike for Sandor and his Draco-esque Leather Pants, that's really saying something.  Dude, okay, I get it that your life sucks because your asshole brother burned half your face off when you were a kid.  However, a lot of characters in these books have gotten seriously fucked up as kids and turned out NOT to be creepers who hit on 13 year old girls and murder children.  I'm just sayin'.  Also, Ilyn Payne > you, so shut up.  It's kind of low to be talking shit about someone to their face when they don't have a tongue to talk back, don't you think?
-I felt even worse for Mycah watching this than I did in the book.  Just the expression he gets when Joffrey is baiting him into fighting and then slowly cutting his face with his sword, that seeming knowing that things were going to end badly for him no matter what he did, made it all the worse.  I cheered out loud when Nymeria and Arya attacked Joffrey just because of that, even though I knew it was going to end horribly anyways.
-THE DIREWOVES ARE SO CUTE.  That made Lady's death even more difficult to watch. :(  However, Summer jumping up on Bran's bed and being all like "Am I a good dog?" after killing the assassin was kind of heartwarming in a twisted way.
-I can't wait for next episode, as I understand that Samwell will be showing up. :3
-They're going to do a second season.  Which will mean Brienne will be in the show.  I.... very much hope that they get an actually ugly, masculine woman to play her and not have some plastic-looking waif with slightly frizzy hair and unflattering makeup running around being told how HIDEOUS she looks.  On the one hand, they have an actual dwarf (is little person the accepted term now?) playing Tyrion... as well they should.  On the other hand, we have Sandor and his bad sunburn.  They'd better do a good job with Brienne, dammit.

I don't have as much to say on Star Trek DS9 or Doctor Who right now, besides expressing disappointment about how my favorite ship in DS9 is not working out right now (poor Odo... ;A;) and squeeing over the presence of Rory.  Also, it's late.  Sleep should happen.
