This heat, this heat.
I can't even handle the weather lately, I'm the opposite of the wicked witch -- sunlight makes me melt. It's fine for the most part since work only requires me to go outside to cross to the other building, but... fuck. I just feel TERRIBLE whenever I'm outside. Absolutely terrible. And many of my coworkers who came from warmer locations just love it, which makes me even more miserable and cranky.
At least I finally got Seeing the Light done, I've just been banging my head on a table to get that done for... too long. Still not happy with the first third of it, but I can't stare at it any more.
Now if I could just get my 20k HIMYM story DONE before the new season, I would be a happy woman. I'm violently unhappy with it, yet somehow I'm perfectly thrilled with a series of supershort ficlets I've been working on for it. Bleh.
