Just to clear things up - I don’t get offended when someone calls me a fag in a playful way, or say “that’s gay” when they mean it’s crap or whatever. I fucking hate it when I’m talking to someone and they say something like that, and then “OMG, sorry. Did I offend you?” And absolutely everyone says this to me, WTF?
And to be honest, I just think it’s stupid when gay people over react to things people say to them. It’s like basically saying, “Just because I’m gay I have to flip at every little thing someone says to me.” It’s like, if I said something like “you hetro” to a straight person you wouldn’t see them getting up in my face about it, because that’s what they are. So why do gays flip when someone calls them gay?
BTW, if you’re gay and you do get offended by that, then that’s cool. I’m just saying, if you’re gay and someone calls you gay… you know. Whatever.
On the other hand, I’ll give you an example of something that actually does offend me, kay? Cos I’m awesome, so listen. XD. “Do you have your own bedroom?”
Me: “Um, yeah, why?”
Him: “That’s good, you know, cos you’re gay.”
Me: “Sorry, what?”
Him: “Oh, it’s just that you have brothers right?”
Me: “Yes.”
Him: “Well, I’m sure your brothers are relieved that they don’t have to sleep in the same room as you.”
Me: …
Me again: “Well dude, it’s not like I’m into my brothers.”
Him: …
Me: “Oh, and you’re straight right? And you have a sister? I bet she’s relieved that she doesn’t have to share a room with you?”
Him: “Don’t be stupid, she’s my sister.”
Me: “My point exactly.”
Now THAT is offensive, and that’s an actual conversation I had with someone. WTF? Doosh.
I don’t know why I’m posting, just felt like it really. BTW, I saw an episode of ER with, um, Elizabeth Mitchell in it. And OMG, she was totally a lesbian! Dude, that is awesome. Tongues and everything.
And, I tried to watch Law and Order SVU on Hallmark (cos Chris Meloni’s in it) but dude, it is the most crap show ever! Srsly, it might be about rape but it’s not the fun spoon kind. It’s just so blah, and straight, and just blah. And I already mentioned it’s on Hallmark. That should tell you something, ;).
There’s this show on BBC3 called Grownups, and it’s not normally my type of show but it is well sexy. It’s dead funny, and there’s this hot barman who takes his top off, like, four times an episode. Good times man.
Jobcentre later. Urg, hate it. Going to town to be told I’m a total Doosh? No fanx.
