I should read a book because I haven't done anything intellectually stimulating at all this summer. It has been raining the last three days and I hate it. I'm losing my tan. I will be in RI in 16 days; a whole year away from the Northeast to finally return. It's always kind of weird going back up there after being in a place so different. Swimming lessons are going well. Aly and Courtney are my pupils and they are adorable, 4 and 6 years-old. Their parents are telling me I am doing great, but I think the kids are doing it all themselves, they're just getting more comfortable in the water. As for actually learning how to properly swim: they have a ways to go and I just hope that I can get them there. I forget how little children always like to have their way and they are prone to whining.
Leigh and I had a meeting with the ghost in her house this evening. We had candles, inscence, and a quiji board. It was fun, although some may say we're meddling in a dangerous area with our black magic, haha.
I went to Montgomery with Heather this past Saturday for the Jubille Cityfest. I saw The Wallflowers and their lead singer is dreamy. We also saw this Christian singer called Steven Curtis Chapman who I was impressed with. Oh, and there was this awesome girl from Tennessee called Nissi Bergman and I really enjoyed her music and voice. She was edgy and her voice was kind of like Alanis Morsette, but not as angry.
I saw Star Wars for the 2nd time with Jeffrey. He turned 21 today, well actually yesterday since it's past midnight. I baked him a cake and boy was it a beaut! Well, at least it tasted good. I hung out in the back of Emily's truck in a parking lot (because that's what we do in Alabama) and chatted with her, Jennifer Clarke, and Bobby. I made quite a rucous in Books-A-Million because I didn't recognize Jennifer and it's been awhile since I've seen her. Last night Leigh, Emily, and I all had a night out on the town. This consisted of the mall, re-wired coffee, and krispy creme. I saw Ann and Anne for the first time in almost a year tonight, I missed them, especially Anne because we used to be tight. If the weather is nice tomorrow I will be giving swim-lessons and that means I will have money. If I have money then I will be going to Mobile and perhaps New Orleans on Saturday. The beach with Emily ended up not working out. I'm still going to visit Sam next weekend though.
Off to do what I do best; sleep.
