Yay! My birthday was wonderful. Woke up yesterday morning from sleeping in Jackie and Rachel's room, walk into my room and there are decorations everywhere and a cookie cake. It was so cute. We were going to do a music video in the commons but they closed it down early. Went to my flag football game, poor Sarah broke her wrist I think. Flag football is hard-core. Came back and showered then my friends had a surprise party for me. I knew they were going to do it, I figured it out, so it wasn't truly a surprise but I loved it. Most of us were in costumes, ate the cookie cake, had jello shots, vodka gummy bears; partied it up. Jessica and Sarah got me this kit with everything I don't have and always ask them to borrow, JC and Jackie got me a designer purse, Colleen got me a bear and a George Bush magnet(joke), Kelsey and Ashley got me earings and a picture frame, Amanda got me bracelets and earings, Rachel got me Gap perfume, and Sam planned the party. I was so happy. My family sent me gifts as well which I also love. I need money so I was grateful for that. We were planning on going to Soul Kitchen last night but that didn't work out as planned. I was exhausted so I went to bed at around 12; everyone was so tired because we had been going all weekend. I should've known going to a Catholic College. During the week study, study, study; weekend party, party, party. I love it though, just sometimes it can be exhausting. Jeffrey called to wish me a happy birthday and said he would give me my present when I came home next weekend. Heather and Melissa both called and sang to me on the phone. Heather said they have a party planned for me when I come home next weekend. Ryan called me a half hour before my birthday was over, just in time. Leigh Newman, I loved your e-card!!! I showed it to everybody, I was like you have to come watch this, everyone was impressed. Thanks for sending it! Alysha commented on my LJ to wish me a happy b-day so I called her. Yesterday really was a great birthday. I am ready for next weekend for my party at home and the Peanut Festival. It is so weird to me how much I really do miss people there. I always thought that once I left for college that place and those people would be completely out of the picture. Of course the people that I'm closest too I would miss and visit, but even those who I just got to know a little bit I still look forward to seeing. Ahh well, time to clean my room, read for class, and eat lunch at around 11:30.
