Labor Day Weekend
I guess Hurricane Francis turned into a tropical storm because all it did was rain and the wind blew hard in Dothan. I feel bad for people in Florida, hurricanes can be cruel. Hurricane Ivan is the next one but it may not even go anywhere near us. I kinda wanted the weather to be bad so that I might not have had classes tomorrow but that's not gunna happen.
Anyways, Friday after class I left with Derick to head home. Derick is a really nice guy, I'm lucky to have such a nice person carting me to and from Dothan. I also find it kind of amusing that he talks as much as I do if not more. Well, when I got home I ate dinner with my mom and Ryan came over and ate with us. Then I went to his apartment and Emily met us there. It was great to see the two of them. It was nice to be goofy and talk about things around good friends. I was exhausted though because I went out on Thursday night to Soul Kitchen with Sam. So Friday night was an early night. Saturday I laid out by the pool. Then Lisa and I went shopping. I got a cool watch, two shirts, and some flip-flops. That night I went out to dinner at O'Charley's with Jeffrey. We had a very nice dinner, I missed him very much. Then I went to his house to watch Taken Lives. He told me that he would probably come visit me at school. I really would like it if he did because I want him to see what it's like and also for my friends here to meet him. I really enjoyed Saturday night with him. Sunday I slept a lot then I went out to dinner with Melissa and then we saw the movie Wicker Park. Melissa gave me a present too, it was a gorgeous shawl, her Mom made it. I love it, it's so warm and pretty. It was nice to see my family as well. Being home felt so comfortable and nice, but I am also happy to be back at school. For some reason Lisa seemed taller or older or something was different about her, in a good way.
I have to give a speech tomorrow in Public Speaking about myself. I already wrote it, I just hope it all comes out all right tomorrow. The people that I've read it to so far say that it is good. I need to go and get some dinner. TTFN.
