Yesterday I had to read a stanza from Rainer Maria Rilke's poem "Der Panther" outloud in class. The poem, as you might be able to guess by the title, was in German. I have to say, while I enjoyed having straight hair for the past couple of days, everybody kept comparing my hair to that of other people (Katie Fleming, Katie Casey..Catie?, Timbre, Gina, Velez).  Now that it's short but curly, it really is my hair.  I think it's very summer-y.

I made the mistake of watching 24 tonight. They aired two episodes. While Jack Bauer is kind of hot, that isn't my main issue. My main issue is that now I think I'm vaguely addicted to this incredibly intense and often disturbing show. The most recent episode really freaked me out.
