I said, "Be careful his bow-tie is really a camera!"

So Mahopac has gotten a lot better lately, and I think this is a combination of work (which isn't all that terrible now that the rush is over) and spending a massive amount of time running around Doing Things, mostly in the city and doing reading for next semester's classes (and trying to figure out what I'm going to concentrate on for my major).  I just hope I don't get too comfortable here and then don't want to go back to school, but I doubt that's going to happen.  How excited am I about next year?  SO excited!

My family went out to dinner the other day to celebrate my birthday (finally...it was over twenty days ago) and saw Ratatouille which was adorable and incredibly well animated.  I mean, I know Pixar's animation is usually good, but this was impressive even for them.

Other than that, not much to report.  If you're from Bard then I miss you.

EDIT: Just talked to my grandmother and then also my mother.  Apparently both of them want to go places over next winter break.  I myself was thinking of going to Spain for a week or something (as inspired by Roger's European adventures).  My grandmother wants to go to Paris for five days, but in the same breath she told me that she doesn't want to give them too much of her money because she hates French politics, so I'm afraid she would ruin that trip for everyone involved by being incredibly rude.  My mother wants to "go somewhere cool" so goodness knows where that would be.  But we talked about the possibility of me going to Spain for a week, and then somewhere with my mother, and then going to Paris with my grandmother.  That would certainly be interesting.  Now I just need to think of suggestions for my mother's trip.
