Shall I Journal?
So as of December 1, 2007 I once again got a raise thanks to the union contract. Granted, I don’t think I was supposed to get it until my 90-day probation was up, but since I’m not getting paid for the holidays, I think Vera put in to the Executive Director mine ahead of schedule. I thank her for this. So from January 8, 2007 until November 2, 2007 I made $7.50 an hour at 40 hours a week. For those of you who don’t want to do the math typically that is $15,600 a year if I would have stayed at that rate for a whole year. From November 2, 2007 until December 1, 2007 I was given a nice raise to $11.15 an hour at 35 hours a week. Again, that is about $20,293 for a full year. Now, I’m up to $11.80 an hour for 35 hours a week. Final tally for a whole year will be $21,476 of course all before taxes. Do you know how ecstatic I am for my raises? Yes, I’m still below the national poverty level, which if I remember right is $18,000 after taxes. And I’m no where near the level which Fish or my brother is at. Of course, their standard of living is 10x what mine is. I guess what I’m trying to say is that for the first time in a long time, I’m happy at least financially. That is only one job too. I’m not sure what Outback is paying me.

My mind has been playing nasty tricks on me while I dream. Besides the swim meets with WWE wrestlers, flying through canyons, and dreams with Sam in them I’m so confused. Oh yeah, I keep having dreams involving the cruise and what it is going to be like afterwards. I don’t want to have expectations going into the cruise, but my mind seems to want to work on things and all of the "what ifs". Bad mind!

This coming Friday is the Kazmierczak side Christmas dinner. I’m hoping it’s going to be a lot of fun again. We had a good time last year. This year I will be taking pictures, and hopefully because I have a better camera I will be getting better pictures. I’m hoping Alex shows up this year because last year he was sick. Maybe even Heather will show up with the new second cousin and the new father. J Last year it was myself, Grandma, Uncle Nathan, Aunt Jan, Rebekah, Abigail, David and his girlfriend, Uncle Dave and Dee, Sean and his wife Stephanie and their daughter, Natalie and her boyfriend and his son, Aunt Sandy and her boyfriend, and Michael. It was a decent crowd. My brother won’t be coming as per the norm.

No, I’m not ready for Christmas. The fighting has subsided a tad bit back at home, but I’m not sure how much longer it will be quiet. I still haven’t gotten Ky’s and Callum’s gifts yet. Hopefully I’ll have time this week to get Mom’s gifts. PJ’s last gift is going to get sent a bit late, since it hasn’t even better ordered yet. From what I’ve heard my calendars this year were a hit. I’m glad they went over so well. Sorry for the spelling error that I made. No one is perfect.
