It's An Outback Halloween Charlie Brown

It's been a long time since I've had alot of fun at an Outback party. Most of the time it's nothing but drunken Outbackers running amuck. Last night proved me wrong.

I arrived in my Ren Witch outfit up at the Fox and Hound about 8:15pm. Only four of us were there: Aaron, Beth, Bees, and myself. The Fox was generous enough to allow us the whole Green Room for the party. We were allowed to tap into their Hi Def tv and hook up Guitar Hero from Playstation. Let me just tell you how addicting that game can be, and I'm not a gamer. I quickly picked it up, and soon was plyaing School's Out, Paint It Black, and a Pat Benetar song. That was definitely the hit of the party. Everyone started showing up around 9-9:30pm. Let's see from what I can remember: Joe Williams-prison inmate, Mandy-Fallen Angel, JD-Death, Breanne and Zack-80's Prom couple, Megan-Fallen Angel, Bees-Rugby player, Nate-Halo3 dude, Jose-Jack Sparrow, Molly, Lisa O, Tony D-pirates, Ryan-Superman, and myself the Witch. There were lots of other outbackers, but they didn't dress up or they were too new to remember their names.

After the excitement of Guitar Hero wound down, everyone started to turn to the other things the Fox offered: such as darts, pingpong, sand bags, and other things. Then, it was like a huge announcement went off at the party and the outbackers started asking for tarot readings. No problem, I was starting to get bored anyways. I sat at a table, and the outbackers lined up, but yet were still respectful enough to not eavesdrop too much on the person sitting down. Let's see I read Mandy, Beth, Jose, Mel, Bees-proprietor, Nick-manager, Nate, Melissa(our Fox server), and lots of others. For the first ever, I was reading people I didn't know anything about. It scared and excited me at the same time. I got wonderful feedback from most, and got alot of "Wow, how did you know that?" At 2am, I was still going strong. At the end there, Outbackers kept shoving other Outbackers in front of me to be read. The new host Chris I did have to turn down at 2:20am because the Fox was trying to shut down and close. I'll tell you that the night flew by once I started reading. Last night I could tell you every single card that I drew for everyone and their themes and such. This morning, I'm a complete blank. I remember reading for them, but not much beyond that. Also for the first time ever, I'm not emotionally drained after reading that many people. I think it's because I did the proper meditation before and after the party that helped keep me balanced and not let myself nor them be a drain on each other. :) Overall, I'm pretty happy with what happened last night. I've also been asked to come up to Outback on Wednesday to read for a couple of Outbackers that were too drunk last night to participate.
