Holy Workage Batman!

I don't think I've done this much work the whole month of September. I kind of like not being able to play around on the internet during work. Most of the day was spent updating and trying to find orginial work orders and the overtimes for Harbor Homes. That was fun. Now I get a break before I have to start entering all the work orders from the REAC inspections. My week is going to be consumed doing that.

Weekend was pretty boring all around. Outback is outback and the longer I stay the more irritated I get. Quality at least in Togo is going straight out the drain. I was so pissed on Saturday, that I started making a list of everything that wasn't being done right anymore. Off the top of my head such things included: 1) No foil on any of the potatoes...who wants steak juice all over their potato? Use foil, it's cheap. 2) Steak juice in the box...bad, that's so messy and can possibly leak everywhere. 3) If you're the bagger, don't touch stuff in the Togo room, the cashier has it the way she wants it. 4) If you're the bagger, don't go out to cars...you don't know which ones the cashier has gone out to. Let them earn the tip, they took the call, they should be the ones going out to the car. 5) Bagger shouldn't be taking calls, that's what the cashier does. 6) Sauces must go with each entree or appetizer. Don't forget them! 7) Sides are being missed. 8) No more than 4 boxes go in a small bag. It looks awful trying to shove five-six items in there. 9) Don't make assumptions, if the customer doesn't mention a side, bring it up and don't automatically assume the one on the menu is the one they want. Who wants soggy Aussie Chips? We discourage Aussie Chipss because they don't travel well. They aren't like McDonalds and taste better soggy. 10) Double check on steak salads, do they want chips, you must ask!

Haha..well what turned into small list, just got a ton bigger. ;)

Last night was the Daughtry concert. He puts on a good show, however it is very short. This could be a credit to him, because he doesn't do covers, just songs off the album. The opening band was okay and was The Sunstreak. Eh. Oh, the crowd was interesting to watch. There were young children through 80 year olds in the audience. I personally thought it might have been too loud for the older generation, but hey good for you for going. Definitely sold out the Warner Theatre at 2300 people. My party had a first rock concert participant. She was only 8. How cute. Actually, she knew the words to most of his songs better than I did.

concert, housing, outback
