Meditation Journal Days 1-3:
I have to start off by saying that I am trying to get a schedule of when I meditate each and every day. I picked 1am to meditate. There are a couple of advantages to this. The number one reason is because I am always home right around that time. No matter how late I have to stay for work.
I set up my own meditation space over in the blue room. I have a pillow for my head and a pillow for under my thighs. It helps with my back believe it or not.
The first night I *woke up* from my meditation to find the bright moon shining on my face. No wonder I had a hard time keeping my eyes from fluttering open. That taught me to keep the miniblind down.
So, I got into this nice habit of meditating every night so far at 1am. The one thing that I have definitely noticed is that as soon as I'm done, and when I go to bed...I sleep more soundly, and more deeply. I feel more rested in the morning, and I'm waking up earlier than I did in the past. When I normally went to bed at that time, I would get up at 12 noon, or later. Now when I'm in bed right after meditating, I'm up the next morning at 11am or sooner. This past morning, my body was ready at 6:30am. My body and I though had a fight, and I won. Back to bed to at least 11am. ;)
