Eclectic Day:
I didn't get up at 9am yesterday (Tuesday) like I wanted to. No, I kinda stayed in bed until 10:30am. I made the calls though, and thank goodness I used my house phone cause I called at least twenty different landlords. My cell phone would of went over my limit.
I visited four different places today, and maybe out of those 20 that I called 7 returned my phone call. Sad. The four places I visited were completely different. The first one I went to is only about five blocks away from me. But it's still considered Millcreek. The apartment was very small and reminded me a ton of campus towers, but smaller. It's prolly what a single in campus towers if they ever made one would look like. It's in the basement, and in the back of the building. Perfect for privacy and for being by myself. To get to the apartment you have to go through three doors to walk into my front area. Then as soon as you walk in you notice a huge window, with a table sort of attached to the window. Then to the left is the kitchette, with working electric stove, refridge, garbage disposal, plenty of cabinets. The living is right there with a chair, and I think that I am going to keep the chair. The livingroom has enough room for a couch, tv stand, and maybe a small tablestand. The bedroom is straight ahead and the flooring is kinda sloped. But its a decent size one and bigger than the other 3 that I saw today. There is walk in closet that I have to get an extention on the drawstring for the light. It's too short and I can't turn on the light. ;) Off to the right in the bedroom is the bathroom. It's very nice and very quaint. I think that I am going to choose this apartment out of the four that I saw. Being close to home is a good thing sometimes, plus right outside my apartment is the bus route that I could take to work. Of course, though I will be getting car shortly. I have my own parking space and everything.
So all day I went searching for apartments. While I was away, my package came via UPS. Darn, I was really looking forward to signing for it, and being special. Anyways...I ordered a new book. It's called The Afterlife Experiments by Dr. Gary Schwartz. I recommend it if you are looking for some answers on what happens after you die. It will also open you mind if you are having questions about faith. With the book came my gift to myself. I paid the $40 for JE's meditation cds. Actually its six cds on the subjects of meditation, psychic self-defense, angels and guides, unleashing your psychic potential, psychic tools in the workplace, and how to conduct a psychic session. I'm more interested in the meditation cd, meeting my guides, and aligning my chakras. Call me crazy.
So, you'll see my meditation journal will become active again. It is up to you all if you want to read it, but it is mostly for me so I can see if I have made any progress. Actually maybe it will teach you what not to do. ;) I seem to be good at that.
